Japan Endovascular Treatment Conference 2024 (JET2024)

JET Challenge

To promote the further advancement of endovascular treatment (EVT) in Japan and other Asian countries, the Japan Endovascular Treatment Conference (JET) proudly announces the start of a new education program named the JET Challenge in JET2024. This program is an advanced form of the current JET Expert Program (JEP) faculty system and aims to provide younger EVT physicians the opportunity to share and discuss their knowledge, expertise, experience, and data with one another.

Past Achievements of the JEP System

  • JET2018: 40 participants from 7 countries; 109 roles, including 63 oral presentations
  • JET2019: 71 participants from 7 countries; 195 roles, including 97 oral presentations
  • JET2020: 90 participants from 8 countries; 238 roles, including 114 oral presentations (initially planned)
  • JET2021: 69 participants from 8 countries; 116 roles, including 85 oral presentations
  • JET2022: 45 participants from 3 countries; 133 roles, including 68 oral presentations
  • JET2023: 26 participants from Japan; 136 roles, including 75 oral presentations

Eligible Participants

  • Currently practicing in Japan or another Asian country
  • Currently not listed as an invited faculty on the JET2024 website
  • Are performing (or will perform) as many endovascular interventions as current JET track members do in daily practice
  • Able to make their research data/case data publicly available
  • Have a promising future as an EVT physician
  • Currently a JET member (if participating from Japan)

Main Points of Participation

  • Participants in the JET Challenge Program will need to join JET2024 on-site (not remotely).
  • Participants’ names will appear on JET2024’s website and in its official proceedings.
  • Participants will be invited to a faculty dinner party.
  • Participants can also apply to join other free-access sessions (e.g., presentation award reception).
  • Participants are free to join programs co-sponsored by companies, such as luncheon seminars and satellite seminars.
  • At these sessions, speakers are likely to be requested to use English in their presentations.

Assistance/Support

  • Participants will not need to pay to participate.
  • JET will provide support for accommodations (e.g., one-night or two-night stay) according to the participants’ roles.
  • JET will provide support for transportation (e.g., 100%, 50%, or 0%) according to the participants’ roles.

  • Anyone who meets the eligibility criteria can apply, whether self-recommended or recommended by others.

Screening Process

The JET2024 Steering Committee will strictly review the submitted application forms and determine whether to permit each applicant’s participation.
